What can be stored in a storage unit?
You may store a variety of items including, but not limited to appliances, car parts, vehicles, home items, clothes, electronics, books and more!
What CANNOT be stored in a storage unit?
You may not store anything flammable, perishable, weapons, ammunition, illegal subtances, drugs, vehicles that are non-operable, livestock, plants and hazardous materials.
Can I live or sleep in a storage unit?
No, living in a storage unit is prohibited by various local TN and federal housing laws.
Are storage units climate controlled?
No, our storage units are not climate controlled. They are sealed with weather proof coating on the outside to ensure the outside elements do not enter your unit.
How secure is self storage?
Our storage units are incredibly secure. The units are all weatherproofed, and each lock is changed after each tenant. Video surveillance is also equipped onsite to monitor the grounds 24/7.
Do I need my own lock?
Yes, you will be responsible for your lock. The facility is gated, and you will have a keypad entry and exit code.
Storage Unit & Sizing
Can I store a car or motorcycle in a storage unit?
Yes, as long as the vehicle is operable. In-operable vehicles can create potential hazards and liabilities.
Can You Run a Business out of a Storage Unit?
No, however many business use storage spaces to store excess goods and/or supplies.
Do you have RV Storage/Boat/Trailer parking?
No, RV/Trailer storage is not permitted at this time. We have added multiple additional storage sizes instead!
What storage sizes are there?
Currently, we have nine storage sizes available. You will find our smallest unit being 3x5, following 5x8, 5x10, 8x10, 8x15, 10x10, 10x15, 10x20, 10x30.
Rental & Lease
How long can I rent a storage unit for?
We do not require any contract obligations. You may rent monthly or indefinitely. The time duration is up to each tenant.
What do I do if I need to downsize my unit?
If you require to downsize, no problem! You may put in a request with our storage facility manager, and they will assist you in finding a size that better fits your needs. The prorated amount will carry over to the next unit.
What do I do if I need to upgrade my unit?
Upgrading your unit is available and made easy. You may put in a request with our storage facility manager and they will assist you in finding a size that better fits your needs. The prorated amount will carry over to the next unit.
What if I am experiencing a problem with my unit?
If you are experiencing an issue or problem with your unit please call 865-428-5749 or email info@reliablestorageco.com. Our onsite staff will contact you within 24-48 business hours.
Do I need storage insurance?
Yes, upon signing your leasing agreement you will be required to provide the declaration page of your insurance policy for our records.
